Tribal law and Federal Indian law are what sparked Colleen’s interest in going to law school. While earning her J.D. at the University of Idaho College of Law, Colleen’s favorite class was Tribal Nation Economics and Law, for which she earned and Excellence for the Future Award. She remains grateful for that class and looks forward now to opportunities to work with Tribal clients to strengthen sovereignty through expanded economic development.
Colleen assists Tribal clients with governance and economic development matters. Her work includes development of Tribal business codes; assistance with coordination with federal agencies and local governments; Tribal business organization, including Section 17 corporate charters; and any and all Tribal government matters and business endeavors.
In her free time, Colleen enjoys family and friends, reading, concerts, the joys of desert living, and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Colleen is fluent in houseplants and the NBA.
